Please find information on Request for Proposal sought by the Reserve Bank of India to engage a consultant to set up an Automated Banknote Processing Centre (ABPC) with requisite experience, for planning/ establishment and operationalization of ABPC.

Reserve Bank of India, the central bank of the country, performs the statutory function of issuance of banknotes. The Bank intends to set up an Automated Banknote Processing Centre (ABPC). This centre would be a green field project aimed at maximising the operational efficiencies involved in receipt and issue/ circulation/ verification and processing of banknotes involving automated storage and retrieval techniques, etc.

The Bank has decided to engage a consultant with requisite experience, for planning/ establishment and operationalization of ABPC.  In order to engage a consultant, the Bank has sought Request for Proposal (RFP) from the interested applicants having necessary expertise and experience. The RFP is available on the Bank’s website and can be accessed at www.rbi.org.in/Tenders.
