H.E. Mrs. Reenat Sandhu

Mrs. Reenat Sandhu is the Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and is also responsible for India’s relations with OPCW, ICJ, PCA and other legal institutions in The Hague. 

Mrs. Sandhu was Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs before arriving in the Netherlands.  During her tenure as Secretary (West), she covered India’s relations with the EU, West & Central European countries and the Eurasia region.

Mrs. Sandhu began her career in the Indian Foreign Service in 1989 and served in various capacities at Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi and Indian Missions abroad in a distinguished career spanning over thirty years since 1989.

Born on June 07, 1964, Mrs. Sandhu completed her Post-graduate in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics.

She is married to Mr. Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Ambassador of India to the USA and has two children.
