Know India Programme
Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi will organize four Know India Programmes (KIP) from September to December 2017. The schedule of KIPs has been finalised and can be seen online at www.kip.gov.in. Indian-origin youth can submit applications online for the following four KIPs to be held in 2017 i.e. 41, 42, 43 & 44:

The portal www.kip.gov.in enables Indian-origin youth in the age group of 18-30 years to apply online for KIP programmes. Non Resident Indians are not eligible to apply.
The applicant should not have participated in any previous KIP or Internship Programme for Diaspora Youth (IPDY) Study India Programme of MEA or any other programme organized and paid for by the Ministry of External Affairs and any other Ministry/Department in Government of India or a State Government in India.
Among new features, the applicants can indicate their preferences online for any of the three KIPs. We will do our best to accommodate them in the KIP of their first preference. Preference will be given to selection of KIP participants from countries in the Caribbean and African regions and those from former French colonies especially second, third and fourth generation overseas Indians who have never visited India so far.

Applications can be submitted online (www.kip.gov.in) till July 21 2017.
