The 74th Republic Day of India Celebrations at India House, Wassenaar

The 74th Republic Day of India was celebrated at India House. H.E. Ambassador Mrs Reenat Sandhu unfurled the flag which was followed by rendering of national anthem and a read out of Hon'ble President's message.  Patriotic songs were played before and after the event.  More than 200 Indian diaspora members and friends of India attended the event. 

 A Republic Day Reception was organized in the evening of 26 January that was attended by more than 300 guests .  The Chief Guest of the evening was H.E. Mr. Paul Huijts, Secretary General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.  The guests included dignitaries from the Government of the Netherlands, diplomatic corps, prominent Indian diaspora members and friends of India.  

 A short video on recap of India-Netherlands bilateral relations in 2022-23 was also screened during the programme (link given below).  A cultural performance enthralled the audience.   Videos on India’s G20 presidency and Incredible India including on tangible and intangible heritage of India were played throughout the event.
